About This Coffee
Hambela is a naturally processed Ethiopian coffee from Haro Sorsa in the Guji region, produced by a network of over 250 smallholder farmers working at high altitude on fertile red clay soils. Coffee is grown under shade alongside enset (false banana), supporting both soil health and local food security.
Cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness and dried on raised beds for 12–15 days, with regular turning to ensure even drying and clarity in the cup. The result is a vibrant, fruit-forward profile with layered sweetness and a clean, structured finish.
Expect expressive notes of ripe cherry and blueberry, complemented by cacao nibs and dark chocolate. Juicy, balanced, and memorable, this is a classic example of a high-quality Ethiopian natural.
