About This Coffee

Fellow Farms Project is an initiative launched in 2022, created to support small-scale coffee producers across Huila and Cauca through a more transparent and sustainable model. Working closely with partner farms, the project pays premium prices for carefully selected cherries while also providing training in harvesting and agricultural best practices. Fellow Farms also collaborates with AMCAPEC, an association of women coffee producers from the municipalities of Tambo, Piendamó and Caldono in Cauca, helping create greater long-term stability and profitability for local growers.

All coffees from the project are processed centrally at La Inmaculada, ensuring consistency, precision and full traceability across each lot.

This delightful Gesha is processed using a meticulous washed method designed to highlight the variety’s clarity and floral complexity. Cherries are first floated to remove low-density fruit and foreign material before undergoing electronic colour sorting and final manual selection. The selected cherries are then depulped, washed and carefully dried in a controlled environment for 15 days until reaching a final moisture content of 10.5%.

The cup is refined, delicate and highly expressive, opening with elegant floral notes of rose petals alongside lychee, candied orange and green grape. Beneath the bright tropical character sits a syrup-like sweetness with hints of cocoa powder and honey. A creamy body and soft, honeyed acidity lead into a long, graceful finish that lingers with florals and citrus sweetness.
