About This Coffee

A Gesha co-fermented with lemongrass — leaves and stems both — Lychee Loops takes an experimental process and points it at a variety that usually needs no help at all. Here the two pull in the same direction rather than working against each other.

In the cup the lemongrass comes through clearly, settling in between lychee and white currant, with the floral character you'd expect from a Geisha holding underneath. It's grown by Heiner Lasso at 2,100 metres in Huila, Colombia. The processing is anaerobic washed, with the lemongrass co-fermented alongside the cherries.
