About This Coffee
Santa Teresa is a beautifully structured washed Panamanian coffee that perfectly captures the elegance and clarity this origin is known for.
Produced at Finca Santa Teresa in Santa Clara, this lot combines Caturra and Catuai varieties grown at around 1,550 metres above sea level in rich volcanic soil surrounded by rainforest. The result is an incredibly clean and refined cup with vibrant notes of green apple, raspberry and hibiscus, supported by a silky mouthfeel and crisp, juicy acidity.
While the farm is also known for exceptional Geisha lots, much of FST’s reputation is built on producing incredibly high-quality traditional varieties at scale. Their terroir — high altitude, volcanic soil, stable climate and surrounding forests — gives even their Caturra and Catuai coffees remarkable sweetness, structure and flavour clarity.
This is a coffee that feels vibrant without becoming overpowering. The green apple acidity brings freshness and lift, the raspberry sweetness adds depth, while the hibiscus-like florals give the cup an elegant finish.
For us, it is another reminder of why Panamanian coffee continues to stand among the world’s most exciting origins.
