TANAT – Elto Hamasho [Anaerobic 96h] 200g | Ethiopia
Elto Coffee is a project run by Eliyas Dukamo and Atiklit Dejene, both with long experience producing Ethiopian coffee. They set it up to raise quality standards and to put southern Ethiopia's terroirs in front of people. This lot comes from Arbegona, in Sidama, at 2200 metres and above.
It runs a 96-hour anaerobic natural fermentation. TANAT describe that long ferment as a revealer of texture rather than a chase for aromatic fireworks, and the cup bears it out — clear and distinct despite the extended fermentation.
Dark fruit leads — juicy blueberry, blackberry, black cherry, jammy without tipping into sweetness. Earl Grey emerges as it moves across the palate, with florals behind. The variety is 74158, and it scores 88.
Freshly roasted by TANAT in Paris and imported to the UK by ROAST EDIT Co.
