About This Coffee

City Limits is a year-round espresso blend designed to deliver a consistently balanced and sweet cup. Built to perform exceptionally well in milk-based drinks while still offering enough clarity to be enjoyed on its own, it’s a versatile and reliable choice for everyday espresso.

The blend combines coffees by Inacio Soares from Fazenda JS in Brazil and  Fincas Mierisch from Finca El Salvador in Honduras, bringing together structure, sweetness and depth. Produced from Red Catuai and Catuai varieties, the coffees undergo honey and washed processing, contributing to a smooth, rounded profile with layered sweetness.

Sourced from altitudes ranging between 880 and 1650 masl across the regions of Mata de Minas and Santa Ana, this blend reflects a focus on quality and consistency through carefully selected, in-season coffees.

A key evolution of City Limits is its move towards a direct relationship blend. Manhattan has worked with both Inacio Soares and Fincas Mierisch since 2017, strengthening long-term partnerships while highlighting the producers behind the coffee.

The result is a clean, approachable espresso with a rich sweetness and balanced character — crafted for daily drinking, yet refined enough to showcase the quality at origin.
