About This Coffee
Brooklyn is a blend that feels both comforting and quietly refined — built around the richness of Brazilian coffee but elevated by the elegance of Panamanian Geisha.
The foundation comes from Inacio Soares’ anaerobic honey processed Catuai from Mata de Minas, bringing deep sweetness, praline richness and a creamy texture to the cup. Layered over the top is a washed Geisha from Finca Santa Teresa in Panama, adding delicate citrus clarity and a softer floral lift.
The result is smooth, approachable and expressive without becoming overly intense. Expect notes of candied orange, praline and cream with a juicy, rounded mouthfeel that works beautifully across both espresso and filter.
Behind the blend are two producers connected by a shared focus on quality and terroir.
In Brazil, Inacio Soares returned to his family’s farm after his father became seriously ill, determined to prove that São Sebastião do Anta could produce exceptional specialty coffee despite long-held local skepticism. Through persistence and careful processing, Fazenda JS has become known for coffees with remarkable sweetness and structure.
In Panama, Finca Santa Teresa works with Geisha descended from the legendary Don Pache lineage, grown in the volcanic soils of Volcán, Chiriquí. Their coffees bring elegance, clarity and refinement to the blend.
Brooklyn brings these two worlds together: comforting sweetness from Brazil, precision and lift from Panama.
